All signs point to Owens leaving the Cowboys
Terrell Owens - WR - DAL - Feb. 10
The National Football Post’s Mike Lombardi believes it’s only become a matter of time before Terrell Owens is an ex-Cowboy.
The list of reporters who don’t believe T.O. will be back: Lombardi, SI’s Peter King, FOXSports’ Jay Glazer, NFL Network’s Adam Schefter, and ESPN’s Ed Werder. Lombardi doesn’t necessarily expect Owens to be cut, however, and suggests a trade to Oakland. T.O. probably wouldn’t cost Al Davis more than a third-round pick and the Raiders are desperate for wideouts.

I’m betting on Czech tonight. However you must be aware that first of all this is a friendly. Second of all, Morocco at home might be more inspired than the Czech and third, Morocco will have Mounir El Hamdaoui playing for them tonight for the very first time. El Hamdaoui, born in my Rotterdam, but from Moroccan parents is the current top goalscorer in the Dutch league.

nice strategy mate, and surely won more than I did on these friendlies today. I wish I had some more draws amongst them.
I also started betting with parlays as I assumed that was how the money was made. It does, IF you hit it, but indeed most of the times there’s just that single game that ruins it all. Now I mostly play singles, but I still play parlays from time to time. In that case I stake less or I try to keep the number of bets in the parlay to a maximum of 4.

This will be my first year on baseball, so by no means, do I know much about capping the sport. However, I do feel I have a good deal of knowledge about the sport as it is the one I follow the closest.
What does everyone think about odds for teams to win the World Series? It seems to me that there may be some value in putting a wager in on a couple of solid teams, in weaker divisions, to win it all. If they make the playoffs, could you hedge by betting against them (in the playoffs) to turn a profit?
The AL Central seems like the right place to start. All teams that have a chance are getting at least 20 to 1.
Tigers 20 to 1
Twins 25 to 1
White Sox 27 to 1
Indians 20 to 1

ytd: 8-13
-5.67 units
leans: 10-5
Thursday February 12, 2009
Play: Celtics -1 1st Q(3 units)
**Play: Warriors -1 1st Q(7 units)**
Play: Blazers +1 2nd quarter(5 units)
Can’t stress how hot the warriors are right now at home. they could easily be 11-0 in their last 11 at home, if it werent for 3 buzzer beaters in that span. they keep getting off to great starts, then they let up a little in 2nd quarter. i follow the warriors real close, i expect them to come out real hot, be up by at least 5 or 6 after 1, then lose the 2nd quarter

I think, this is very good bets:
German Bundesliga 2
Hurnberg VS Kaiserslautern
Take Kaiserslautern +0.5
Portugal Div 1
Pacos Ferriera VS Belenenses
Take Belenenses +0.25 (+0&+0.5)

Not me. I don’t think it took a rocket scientist to know he hasn’t got that big by just eating egg whites, and doing curls. You just don’t get that big without cheating. I have worked out for years, and the only time I had noticeable changes is when I messed with the sauce. I will admit that I have done a few cycles of steroids in my days, so I know just how easy it is to get big. For the rest of my life it didn’t matter how hard I worked out, and how strict I was with my diet. I know all the tricks, but never was able to put on A-Rod like size until I stuck myself.
With that said A-Rod is pretty much fucked. He didn’t even use HGH, so he can’t use the free pass excuse “I did it to heal my injury.” Plain and simple he cheated. I am not surprised, but nor do I care. Anyone who has played the game knows exactly how difficult it is to hit the ball. No muscles in the world are going to help you hit a curve ball. This should be an interesting week hearing about this

Report: Edgerrin James already out in Arizona
Edgerrin James - RB - ARZ - Feb. 5
According to the Arizona Republic’s Dan Bickley, Edgerrin James is “already gone” from the Cardinals.
Edge reportedly did not return to Phoenix with the Cardinals after the Super Bowl. James’ release, which cannot become official yet, will save Arizona $5 million under the salary cap, increasing the team’s spending limit to roughly $47 million. It also creates a need at tailback. J.J. Arrington is a free agent and the Cardinals will have to find a complement for Timmy Hightower.

Houston is basically 100% healthy with the big 3 and Battier. The Bucs are missing 3 starters tonight…Red, Bogut and Ridnor.
The last time these teams met, granted it was in Houston but those 3 guys did play and Houston won by 4. (even with McGrady shotting 35% from the field and no Battier)
I see this line dropping now at -6 and -5.5 in some places.
I have a big play (parlay) with Houston -2.5 (bought down) and Pitt (CBB) moneyline. Should I be worried?
Think Houston should win this game worst case and I don’t see how the Bucs can stop Yao, McGrady and Artest at full streinght with those injuries.
HOU’s past 12 road games:
02/04/09 @ Memphis L 93-104
01/26/09 @ New York L 98-104
01/25/09 @ Detroit W 108-105
01/23/09 @ Indiana L 102-107
01/09/09 @ Oklahoma City W 98-96
01/07/09 @ Boston W 89-85
01/06/09 @ Philadelphia L 96-104
01/03/09 @ Atlanta L 100-103
01/02/09 @ Toronto L 73-94
12/26/08 @ New Orleans L 79-88
12/23/08 @ Cleveland L 90-99
